Annotation: The article examines the influence of cultural norms on the perception and prevention of domestic violence in different countries. The perception of this issue varies depending on cultural attitudes, which affects society’s awareness and willingness to condemn violence. The conclusion is drawn regarding the need not only for individual work with victims, but also for changing deeply rooted cultural beliefs.
