Abstract. The unprecedented scale of global economic cooperation and integration has objectively stimulated the formation and the development of major international (transnational) economic and trade organizations. As a result of these processes, complex and interdependent economic relations have emerged, exerting a significant influence on national economies.

Within these evolving relationships, state sovereignty and sovereign rights intersect with the functional powers of international economic (trade) organizations and transnational corporations. The growing role of the latter often gives rise to legal and institutional contradictions related to state regulation, economic policy, and protection of national interests.

This research is devoted to the analysis of this complex and multifaceted issue, with the aim to identify the possibilities and limitations of preserving state sovereignty under the conditions of international economic cooperation.

Keywords: state sovereignty, sovereign rights, international economic (trade) organizations, functional powers, international law, international practice.
