Multi-fuel filling stations trade in gasoline, diesel fuel, liquefied petroleum gas, as well as compressed natural gas. The operation of filling stations is associated with high fire and explosion hazards. The presence of various fuels increases the possibility of hazards and complicates the risk management system.

Based on various scientific sources, on the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, as well as on a study of accidents recorded in the territory of the Republic of Armenia within the period 2020-2024, the probable causes of fires and explosions at filling stations and precautionary measures have been presented.

Keywords: multi-fuel filling station, liquefied petroleum gas, compressed natural gas, explosion, fire, emergency situations, cause of fire, ignition source.
