Abstract: Comprehensive rehabilitation of women who find themselves in a difficult life situation is one of the important tasks of any state's social policy. Domestic violence, illness, loss of housing and work, death of loved ones, divorce, pregnancy, neglect lead to loss of confidence, isolation, vulnerability. Shelters, social hotels, and specialized crisis centers for women in difficult situations have been opened in all regions of the Russian Federation. However, an analysis of the legal regulation of the organization of crisis centers for women in difficult situations has led to the conclusion that there is no regulatory legal act in the Russian Federation regulating the legal and organizational foundations of the work of such organizations at the federal level. The presented article examines the state and prospects for the development of legal regulation of the organization of crisis centers for women in difficult situations.
Keywords: difficult life situation, crisis center, social rehabilitation.
