The article covers the issue of harmful vibrations that occur during the operation of firefighting equipment, as well as the causes of vibration, the harmonic forms, the parameters of vibration measurement, the permissible limit of vibration amplitudes and the comparison with standard requirements. The machine components which cause vibration have been identified. In order to avoid resonance and accidents, it is necessary to carry out ongoing vibration monitoring, to identify the causes of vibration and to eliminate it by means of balancing.
