THE STATUS OF NON-COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATIONS IN THE PROCESS OF CIVIL CONTROL OF THE NATIONAL SECURITY SECTOR

Summary: The purpose of this scientific article is to reveal the status of non-commercial organizations involved in the process of civil oversight in the field of national security. In pursuit of the above goal, within the framework of the research presented in this scientific article, the author set the task of studying the legal status of individuals working in this field and its peculiarities. Therefore, according to domestic legal regulations, the organizational and legal forms of non-profit organizations have been identified, and the features of their classification according to the objectives of their activities have been presented. The methodological basis of this research is formed by both general and special methods of legal studies, including historical, formal-legal and comparative legal methods.

As a result of the study, we can conclude that non-commercial organizations engaged in the process of civilian oversight of the national security sector may have a non-state organizational and legal form provided for by the Civil Code and other laws and pursue both private and public goals.
