Abstract: Domestic violence continues to be a pressing social issue in the Republic of Kazakhstan and around the world. This article analyzes the legal, institutional, and cultural aspects of combating domestic violence. It focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of existing mechanisms for protecting the rights of victims, implementing legislative initiatives, and the role of governmental and non-governmental organizations in addressing this issue. The article also examines the socio-economic factors contributing to domestic violence and proposes specific measures aimed at strengthening prevention and improving law enforcement practices.
