Abstract․ This article is devoted to the theoretical and methodological study of one of the fundamental concepts of national political science, namely the general model of the national political system. It explores how Armenian ethno-cultural features, such as territory, origin, language, and mentality, as well as broader social characteristics, including economic life, socio-group structure, and ideology, are expressed in the functioning political system of the Republic of Armenia. The study further examines how these national features are transformed into distinct political subsystems. In addition, it provides a comparative analysis of the political system of the Republic of Armenia and the broader concept of the national political system. The research leads to the following conclusions:
- The national political system provides an opportunity to incorporate not only all the theoretical developments within Armenian studies, but also the works of Armenian scholars across various fields of science, ensuring their systematic coordination, institutional integration, and functional application within the structural and ideological integrity of the national political system, while preserving the wholeness of national values.
- In the context of artificial intelligence and global geopolitical universalization, alongside the challenges of interethnic convergence, internationalization, and assimilation, a contemporary political demand for neo-nationalization is likely to reemerge, resulting in a reassessment of national features. In the realm of this logic, nations will once again take shape, and new types of nation-states will be constituted, acquiring distinctive political subjectivity within the contemporary system of international relations. In accordance with these emerging dynamics, the Armenian state, owing to its national features and national system, will secure a clearly defined position within the evolving global political landscape.
- The scientific approach to the common origin of the nation shapes the perspective that the rapid development of ethnogenetics and genetics may, in the future, become a new foundation for human self-knowledge and ethnic affiliation. As a result, the formation of new types of national groupings may emerge worldwide, grounded not only in historical memory and cultural self-consciousness, but also in scientifically substantiated combinations of genetic identity and self-awareness. These processes may lead to new political shifts, including the formation of neo-national states.
Key words: domestic political science, domestic political system, Armenian national characteristics, neo-nationalization, new national state.
