Analytical training course at Europol

     From 9 to 10 November, the Europol Headquarters in the Hague hosted another analytical training for decision-makers of the regional program of  Training and Operational Cooperation in Countering organized crime (TOPCOP) of the EU Law enforcement training agency (CEPOL). The Educational Complex of Police of RA was represented by the Deputy Head of the International Cooperation and IT division of the Educational-methodical and development department of the Educational Complex, police lieutenant colonel Karine Safaryan.

On the first day of the seminar, participants with Europol analysts discussed the topic of “Regional report regarding the assessment of the threats of aggravated and organized crime”.

They agreed to include at least five main types of crime to be countered in the given report which are identified as priorities for all interested states.

On the 2nd day of the meeting a preliminary version of a single questionnaire was developed with common efforts of SOCTA (Serious and Organized Crime Threat Assessment), in accordance with the methodology for information collection should be carried out at the national level.
