Become a lawyer on the paid basis educational program
All necessary conditions are created for getting qualified education at Educational Complex of Police of RA. Since 2010 two programs of Law on paid basis education (bachelor and master programs) have been created at Police Educational Complex of RA.
Year by year the quality of education is getting improved in the educational complex:
- the upgrade of educational programs,
- the Investment of modern technologies into educational process,
- accomplishment of material-technical base.
All of this promotes to making such qualified staff and specialists, who continue their activities not only in Police of RA, but also other state and private institutions. Until now in the framework of paid basis education per each year 70 graduates have received sample of state diploma with the specialty of “Law”. Today they work in institutions, such as Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Defense, Prosecutor’s office of RA, Investigation Committee of RA, Chamber of Advocates, law firms.
The duration of paid basis educational program of bachelor degree is 4 years. The format of education is full-time. In order to apply for the entrance, one must have secondary level of education, as minimum. The male learners of paid basis full-time educational program don’t use the right of deferment, which is prescribed in the article 14.1 (a) of Law of RA on Conscription. The semi-annual study fee costs 250.000 AMD.
The applicants pass entrance exams of two competitive subjects:
-Armenian Language (dictation),
- History of Armenia (test).
The applicant, based on his/her will, can pass only the exam of the subject “Armenian Language”, if he/she introduces the certificate (original), given by the “Assessment and Evaluation Center” SNCO, concerning to the passed joint examination on the subject “History of Armenia”.
According to the educational plan of Bachelor Degree, the graduates, who passed the whole training course and final attestation, the specialty of “Law” in bachelor degree and sample of state diploma are handed to the graduates.
The priority is given to the graduates of paid basis education of Educational Complex of Police of RA, who are appointed to the average positions of police, according to the Law of RA on “Service in Police”,
Terms and conditions of admission to paid basis full-time education of bachelor degree
The duration of master degree program education is 2.5 years. The format of the education is part-time. In order to be entered the paid basis part-time education, the appliers must have bachelor degree of Law (sample of state diploma).
The entrance exam of master program is realized through interview, the competition is carried out, giving priority to the following criteria:
1. total amount of average evaluation for general advancement or qualitative assessment during Bachelor’s Degree,
2. total amount of average evaluation for general advancement or qualitative assessment of professional subjects,
3. existence of published scientific works or works that are accepted for publishing, graduation paper (thesis) and reports,
4. total amount of average evaluation for general advancement or qualitative assessment of non-professional subjects.
The specialty of “Law” in master degree and sample of state diploma are handed to the graduates, who pass the whole training course and final attestation intended for the educational plan of Master Degree.
