Delegation of the Educational Complex of MIA of RA in China

On the 20th of September, the Global Security Cooperation Forum 2023 was held in the city of Lianyungang, the People's Republic of China, which was attended by more than 700 representatives from 47 countries, including Armenia, France, New Zealand, Brazil, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Ethiopia,Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Pakistan, Kenya, Nicaragua and other countries.

From the Educational Complex was represented by the Head of the Police Educational Complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RA, police colonel Manuk Muradyan and the Deputy Head of the International cooperation and IT division, police lieutenant colonel Karine Safaryan.

The presentations were dedicated to forecasting global security outlook, multilateral cooperation in the field of public security, enhancing governance capacity building, sharing development achievements in the field of security.

Within the framework of this forum, on the 21st of September, a sub-forum on “Globalized Security Challenges and Capacity Upgrading of Police Education” was held where the Head of the Police Educational Complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, police colonel M. Muradyan made a speech. In his speech, he touched upon the contemporary security challenges and the necessary steps to be taken to improve police education in order to properly address these challenges. M. Muradyan also presented the implemented and ongoing activities in the Educational Complex aimed at improving police education.

At the sub forum, the handshaking of the leaders of the educational institutions gave the start of the Action Initiative “Future-oriented Talents Development Program" for the Global Public Security 2023-2024 designed by the initiative of the People’s Public Security University of China.

The Head of the Educational complex had bilateral meetings with the presidents of the Public Security University of China, the Amin Police University of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the head of the Academy of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Issues related to strengthening cooperation between the Educational Complex and police educational institutions of these countries were discussed, including implementation of joint scientific researches, exchange of professors and students, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
