Discussing new programs

6 April 2016 – The RoA Police Educational Complex hosted Christopher Gruber, Special Agent with the Diplomatic Security Service, currently serving as the Assistant Regional Security Officer-Investigator at the U.S. Embassy Yerevan and Tigran Petrosyan, Criminal Fraud Investigator with the Diplomatic Security Service. The visit aimed at introducing an overview of the Assistant Regional Security Officer-Investigations (ARSO-I) program and discussing the feasibility of conducting document fraud training for Armenian police officers that undergo periodic in-service training at the Police Educational Complex.

During the meeting with Lieutenant-general Varyan, Head of the RoA Police Educational Complex, and the top management, the delegates introduced their programs and objectives. They were provided detailed information on the academic programs as well as training courses designed for acting police officers offered by the Police Educational Complex. As a result of the discussion, preliminary agreement was reached.

The delegates were shown the premises of the Educational Complex. Lieutenant-general Hovhannes Varyan, Head of the RoA Police Educational Complex, accompanied the guests to the Police History Museum, located in the Educational Complex where they got acquainted with the exhibits testifying to a long history of the Armenian police.
