Training course on “Human Trafficking” in the RoA Police Educational Complex

26-29 September 2016 - In the framework of the Eastern Partnership Police Cooperation Program, Polish police experts major Michał Grzelec, captain Jarosław Kończyk and warrant officer Piotr Qbiak conducted a training course on “Human Trafficking” in the RoA Police Educational Complex.

Opening remarks were delivered by Lieutenant-General Hovh. Varyan, Head of the RoA Police Educational Complex. Having welcomed the participants and having stressed the importance of police cooperation with European countries, Mr. Varyan expressed hope that the knowledge gained would be effectively applied in daily police activities.

Deputy Head of the International Police Cooperation Division of Police Headquarters Norayr Abgaryan presented the European Commission-supported Eastern Partnership Police Cooperation Program which aims at fostering the development of cooperation between the police forces of the European Union and Eastern Partnership countries, in particular in the fight against transnational crime.

Upon the end of the event, the participants were awarded certificates of completion.
