14 March 2017 – The Police Educational Complex was in festive mood. By the initiative of Police Colonel Garnik Hayrapetyan, Head of the Police Combat and Physical Training Unit, First Deputy Head of President of "Dinamo" Sports Non-Governmental Organization of RA, medals were awarded to the police officers who had achievements in sports.

In the ceremony of handing over the medals also participated Lieutenant-General Hovh. Varyan, Head of the Police Educational Complex.

G. Hayrapetyan spoke with great enthusiasm about police officers’ high preparedness and considerable progress in sport.

The medals were granted by Colonel-General Vladimir Gasparyan, Head of the RoA Police, but the honor of handing medals received Mr. Hayrapetyan, who also handed over a Cup to Hovh. Varyan as the head of an institution which showed high-performance in combat and physical training 2016.

At the end of the ceremony, Hovh. Varyan expressed his gratitude for awards, emphasizing that one of the most important values of police officers is physical training. G. Hayrapetyan said that "Dinamo's" doors are always open for police officers, and added, sport center will continue to be a reliable guarantee for the police officers combat and physical training.
