I remember and demand

21 April 2015 – The RoA Police Educational Complex held an event devoted to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide. The event was attended by the Educational Complex management, commissioned police officers, cadets and other guests. The event commenced with the demonstration of a documentary on the activities of leading Turkish and Azerbaijani intellectuals who were persecuted by the Turkish government for telling the truth about the Armenian Genocide. At the end of the film the Turkish intellectuals asked for forgiveness down on their knees in Tsitsernakaberd for the crime committed by their ancestors.

The cadets of the Educational Complex presented the four stages of the Genocide carried out by the Ottoman Empire. Then they demonstrated an act of respect to the countries that have recognized the Armenian Genocide, condemned denial and demanded that the world recognize the Armenian Genocide since the only way of preventing genocide is its recognition. The flag of Armenia and the flags of the countries that have recognized the Armenian Genocide were brought in. The event was accompanied by musical and literary works.

Upon the end, General-Lieutenant Varyan, Head of the Educational Complex, handed over certificates to the winners of the essay competition devoted the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide. Colonel Ghazaryan, Head of Academy, handed over copies of the new edition of Paruyr Sevak’s "The Unsilenceable Belfry" to the winners of the competition.
