Darknet police training course in the Police Educational Complex

17-21 October 2016 - A Darknet training course was held in the state-of-the-art computer lab of the RoA Police Educational Complex organized by the OSCE Office in Yerevan.

The course was delivered by IT international expert Stefan Mausser.

IT specialists from Police Educational Complex, General Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Armenian Police, Armenian Ministry of Defense, Prosecutor’s Office, Investigative Committee of Armenia and other departments attended the course.

Colonel T. Yesayan, First Deputy Head of the Police Educational Complex, delivered a welcome speech attaching great importance to the implementation of such projects and collaboration between the Police Educational Complex and the OSCE Office in Yerevan stating that experience exchange and cooperation in the IT field play a relevant role in combating crime. 

The participants were also welcomed by Politico-Military Officer of the OSCE Office in Yerevan Bernhard Frankl who emphasized the need for such initiatives. He added that such events will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
